National Security Innovation Base Roundtable

February 9th, 2026 @ Washington, DC

SVDG and the Ronald Reagan Institute convened a small, off-the-record working roundtable to inform the Institute’s 2026 National Security Innovation Base (NSIB) Report Card. The invitation-only discussion brought together a select group of industry leaders and government-relations professionals from across the national security innovation ecosystem.

Participants shared candid, practitioner-level insights on how the NSIB has evolved over the past year, where key friction points persist, and which policy and ecosystem changes are most needed going forward. The session was designed to surface practical, actionable input to directly shape the Reagan Institute’s analysis and recommendations.

I have been building websites & apps for over a decade and have done everything from providing middle-of-the-night on-call support to managing the development of insurance quoting apps.

Today, I build websites for businesses across a variety of industries and consult on website development, information architecture, and digital marketing strategy.

Regardless of size, my primary focus is helping businesses communicate their brand story—and connect with their audiences on the web—by creating engaging digital experiences.
