Kirsten Bartok has a long history as an entrepreneur and investor.  Since coming to the Silicon Valley in mid 90s to attend Stanford’s GSB, she has founded and built companies (XOJET, AirFinance), worked in emerging tech investing (New Vista Capital, H&Q and Chase Capital Partners), investment banking (Goldman Sachs), and run strategy and corporate development for a global aerospace manufacturer (Hawker Beechcraft) where she helped lead their expansion into China. Kirsten has also served as a board member and advisor to numerous technology companies during her 20+ years in Silicon Valley.  In the last decade, Kirsten has been an active early investor focused on emerging technologies in aerospace and defense sector. 

 Currently, Kirsten is a Managing Partner of AirFinance Leasing LLC, a firm that specializes in the financing of global aerospace assets. She is also a co-founder of New Vista Capital and New Vista Acquisition Corp, an investment platform focused on latter stage technology investing in aerospace, defense, space, communications, logistics and transportation.

Kirsten received a BA, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania where she was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar, and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. She was a Council Foreign Relations term member, a French American Foundation Young Leader, a German Marshall Fellow and a Committee on US China Relations Young Leader Fellow.  She is currently a member of the French American Foundation Board of Directors, an advisory board member of the National Business Aviation Association and previously served as a member of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business (GSB) Management Board.
